Terms and conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and buy from us. Please read them before you place an order.

About these terms
These terms apply to thewhitewillow.ca and to every order you place with us. They are an agreement between you and The White Willow (“we” and “us”). When you place an order, you accept these terms, our privacy policy and our refunds and returns policy.
If the consumer protection law where you live gives you more rights than these terms do, those rights apply.
Who can order
To order, you must have reached the age of majority in your province or territory, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, and have a shipping address in Canada.
Our products
We work to describe every product accurately. Each product page describes what the product is and what it contains, and the complete ingredient list is printed on its label. If the page and the label ever differ, the label is correct.
Product photos are a guide. Manufacturers sometimes update their packaging or formulas, so what you receive may look slightly different. Brand and product names belong to their owners.
Using our products safely
Use every product only as directed on its label. Essential oils are concentrated: keep them out of reach of children and pets, keep them away from your eyes, and patch-test before applying them to your skin. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a health condition, talk to a health professional before use.
Supplements are natural health products. Follow the directions and cautions on the label.
Our product information describes what each product is and what it contains. It is not medical advice. Nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Prices and taxes
All prices are in Canadian dollars. GST, HST, PST or QST is added at checkout based on your shipping address, and you’ll see the full amount before you pay. Prices can change, but you always pay the price shown when you placed your order.
If a price is clearly wrong because of an error on our part, we’ll contact you before shipping. You can then choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Placing an order
Before you pay, checkout shows the items you’ve chosen, the total price including taxes and shipping, and your delivery address, and you can correct any mistakes. After you order, we email you a confirmation with the details. Please keep it for your records.
We may decline or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if there is a pricing error. If we cancel your order, we’ll tell you why and refund you in full.
Payment
You can pay by any method offered at checkout. Payments are handled securely by Stripe, our payment processor, and we never see or store your full card number. Payment is taken when you place your order.
Shipping
We ship within Canada only, from here in Canada. Shipping is a flat $15 per order, and it is shown at checkout before you pay. Delivery times depend on the carrier and your location, so any delivery date we give is an estimate.
If we can’t ship your order within 30 days, we’ll let you know, and you can cancel it for a full refund. Once your parcel has been delivered to the address you gave us, it is yours.
Returns and refunds
Our refunds and returns policy explains what you can return, how to do it and when you’ll be refunded.
Using this website
You’re welcome to browse and shop for your own personal use. Please don’t misuse the site: don’t try to break or overload it, gain unauthorized access, or copy its content in bulk.
The text, photos and logo on this site belong to us or to the brands we sell, and you may not reuse them without permission.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to take reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss caused by using a product other than as directed on its label, or for delays caused by events outside our control, such as severe weather or carrier disruptions.
Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.
Your privacy
Our privacy policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
If something goes wrong
If you’re unhappy with anything, please contact us first. Most problems are easy to sort out. These terms are governed by the laws of your province or territory of residence and the federal laws of Canada, and nothing here affects your right to contact your provincial consumer protection office or to go to court.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and we’ll change the date at the top of the page when we do. The terms in place when you placed an order apply to that order.
